The Danish Jewellers Association hereby invites new established designers to participate at                      the BRAND NEW NORDIC during the New Nordic Jewellery and Watch Show, August 25th to 27th, 2017.

As a participant in the BRAND NEW NORDIC competition you will have the opportunity to present your design in professional surroundings together with the entire industry at very favorable terms.

For three days you can interact, sell and network with both retailers and buyers from the industry. Your design will gain great exposure and you will get an insight into future business opportunities.

BRAND NEW NORDIC is an established concept which is created to support new talents in the industry, nationally as well as internationally.

Attendance and competition

As an attendant at the Brand New Nordic you will have your own area (about 4 square meters) with a locked display case (555 x 534 x 344 mm), a table and a chair where you can present and display a selection of your products.

A jury will evaluate the selected pieces based on their overall impression. The jury looks for factors such as innovation, surprise and novelty. Furthermore the jury evaluates the commercial values and opportunities for the designer and there products. Based on these criteria a winner will be appointed.

The winner of BRAND NEW NORDIC will receive a free booth at The New Nordic Jewellery and Watch Show 2018 (3 x 3 meter), as well as a free full page advertisement in the trade magazine AuClock.

Rules for entry are very simple:

A new partnership joins forces

for a major new Nordic show in Denmark

Design Ure Smykker, Nord-Fair A/S and The Jeweller’s Association in Denmark are now joining forces to create a new large and unifying exhibition in August 2017.

The show takes place in Bella Center, located in Copenhagen, and has been named New Nordic. The name is chosen to highlight the main purpose of this exhibition: To present news, to be innovative and to show the touch of Nordic designs. New Nordic – a new Nordic platform for jewellery and watches.

The first exhibition will be held from 25 to 27 August 2017.

The best of several worlds

It is well-known and experienced organizations with many years of both knowledge and work in the trade fair industry which are behind the new initiative. From the two previous trade fairs in Denmark, Copenhagen Jewellery & Watch Show and Design Ure Smykker in Vejle, the three organizers took a lot of ideas, proven successes and new inputs. – We have in other words combined the best of two worlds, says one of the organizers, Anne Nordsted from the exhibition company Nord-Fair A/S.

The website newnordicshow.dk

At newnordicshow.dk you will find all relevant information about the fair, and we are constantly updating with new exhibitors and new initiatives. It is also here you can read about the fair's sponsors and the framework for this years celebration of New Nordic Night, held at the Hotel Radisson Blu on Saturday night.

New Nordic 2017: August 25-27 in Bella Center

The trade show will take place in Bella Center in Copenhagen and is named New Nordic because it emphasizes the most important purposes of the trade show: To present novelties, to be innovative, and to have a Nordic design.

Website and magazine support

The trade show website presents information about the trade show, the exhibitors, and new and exciting initiatives.
